About the Job
Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) – Brisbane, CA
We’re hiring a Financial Data Analyst to support both accounting and finance operations. This role combines financial analysis, revenue operations, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement, with a strong focus on systems and automation.
You’ll work closely with Accounting, Operations, and Leadership, with most processes running through Odoo ERP. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with financial data, improving workflows, and building scalable reporting processes.
- You are a self-starter who can independently drive projects from concept to execution while actively collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable taking initiative, managing priorities, and contributing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with Accounting, Operations, Leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
Interview Process

- Final Interview with Head of Finance and Accounting (1 hour)
Responsibilities
Operations
- Manage accounts receivable processes from quote-to-cash, including invoicing, reconciliations, and collections follow-up
- Maintain and audit sales commission structures in spreadsheets and Odoo
- Work with department leads to improve data accuracy and reporting processes in Odoo
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting on revenue, expenses, headcount, and operational KPIs
- Support improvements to sales and operational processes
FP&A
- Build and maintain financial models and operational analyses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning
- Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Identify repetitive finance tasks and improve them through automation and AI tools
What We're Looking For
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, finance operations, business operations, or consulting
- Strong accounting foundation, including financial statements, revenue recognition, and AR/AP processes
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling and pivot tables
- Experience with SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- Experience automating workflows or using scripts to improve efficiency
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial insights clearly
- Systems-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable improving processes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Proactive, resourceful, and interested in using AI to improve finance operations
Nice to Have
- Experience with ERP systems
- SaaS or high-growth startup experience
- Strong interest in improving and optimizing financial and operational processes
- Familiarity with AI or LLM tools to enhance workflows and efficiency

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $85,000–$100,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
