We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel – Contracts, with initial experience in an industrial or tech environment, to join our growing legal function. You’ll work hand in hand with Alice & Bob’s Legal Supervisor, gaining hands-on experience and direct exposure to the company’s operations. This role is an opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced deeptech environment where collaboration and practicality are key. You’ll support the day-to-day contractual activity of the company and help shape processes that will support our mission to build the world’s first fault-tolerant quantum computer.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial contracts (vendor, partnerships, procurement)
- Advise internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, operations) on contract risks, liabilities and compliance considerations
- Collaborate with Alice & Bob’s Legal Supervisor to design and improve internal procedures, templates, and playbooks
- Ensure contractual compliance and follow-up throughout the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and obligations tracking
- Perform legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulation changes
- Support the resolution of claims, disputes or pre-litigation issues when they arise
- Liaise with external counsel when needed for specialised advice
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in law (Bac +5) in a relevant field such as contract/technology/commercial law, in any case with a solid academic background in contracts
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a relevant legal role (in-house or law firm), ideally in a tech or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation, legal risk assessment
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Good analytical and drafting skills
