CryptoNext is a spin-off from Inria Paris and Sorbonne University. The quantum computer disruption is an opportunity, a source of progress for many fields, but also a serious threat to the security of electronic communications. A large-scale quantum computer will break the cryptography that permits securing the Internet. Their vision is that quantum computers are a risk that we cannot ignore.
