About the Role:
As a Supplier Project Coordinator at Geomiq, you will be the key liaison between our UK team, Manufacturing Partners, and Bengaluru Quality hub. Your role is to ensure seamless order fulfilment, optimize vendor performance, and uphold high-quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for manufacturing partners, ensuring they have the necessary resources and technical data.
- Experience in managing and dealing with vendors, specifically within the CNC or Sheet Metal area.
- Track production progress, address quality concerns, and mitigate delays.
- Oversee order execution, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage logistics between vendors, QC, and shipping teams.
- Ensure vendors understand customer design requirements and technical specifications.
- Facilitate technical communication between all stakeholders.
- Support quality assurance by guiding vendors and resolving pre-shipment issues with the QC team.
- Provide feedback to improve vendor management systems and customer experience.
- Maintain confidentiality of Geomiq’s supply chain and customer data.
Experience Required:
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Proven experience in project management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong background in vendor management, quality control, and logistics.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, fabrication, or precision manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with quality assurance standards and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
