Role Summary

Business Analyst with Apps Transformation experience

As part of our overall investment and growth strategy in the UK we are hiring experienced Business Analysts with experience of legacy to cloud transformations to join our team.

Initially the Business Analysts will join an Application Modernisation programme; but over time there will be opportunities to take on a wider range of opportunities for example in software development and client IT transformation programmes.

Within the Application Modernisation programme, working within a team, the Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the transformation of legacy applications into modern, scalable, and cloud-native solutions. You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

You’ll thrive using agile methods and enjoy working collaboratively with business units and multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll contribute to the digital transformation of an organization.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for applications in scope.

Work with architects, product owners, project managers and on some projects senior business analysts, to ensure technical solutions meet business processes and expectations.

Support application configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.

Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

Maintain documentation including requirements documents, RTMs, user guides, process flows, and system specifications.

Assist in change management and user training efforts.

Support the continuous improvement of the modernisation process.

Skills Required

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical or application-focused role.

Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation, data analysis and presentation, stakeholder engagement and management.

Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar.

Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Experience with a range of application types (E.g. Enterprise, Custom, Packaged).

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.

Desirable Qualifications

Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.

Agile/Scrum certification.
