Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid but must be within 100 miles from Lexington, MA. The individual will be required to be onsite 4 days a week. Candidates are expected to be local at the time of the start of the assignment.

About The Role
Aquila Technology is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. The team is seeking a Software Engineer who will be able to assist with software development efforts spanning the undersea mission area. Included in this role are reviewing code design, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring thorough unit, static and dynamic testing (as appropriate) is in place, all in support of supporting DevSecOps policies and delivery requirements. The successful candidate will develop software for a collection of smaller projects, while coordinating with program managers to support downstream combination of these components in support of larger goals.
Must Have
PTO - 15 days (vacation/sick) 10 paid holidays - 6 standard (New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) - 4 floating holidays prorated based on your day of hire:

Buy Your Own Device (BYOD) - Team members are eligible for reimbursement of up to $1,500 every three (3) years for the purchase of electronic equipment used to access corporate services. To qualify for this benefit, employees must have completed a minimum of six (6) months of employment and must agree to and sign the Device Minimum Configuration Form prior to reimbursement. Electronic devices eligible under the Buy Your Own Device (BYOD) program are limited to cell phones, laptops, and tablets.
Work Location: Onsite - Candidates should expect to work onsite four (4) days per week, with the potential for one (1) work-from-home day.
