We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our consultancy firm, primarily working on projects within the UK public sector. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of public and private sector experience, with a particular interest in financial services.

We primarily work in the public sector, supporting initiatives that improve society and the lives of citizens; with not-for-profit organisations, charities and social enterprises; and with some private-sector companies. The key sectors we're working in at the moment include education, apprenticeships & skills development, social care, rehabilitation, housing and criminal justice - but we're always growing, developing and finding out about new things.
In April 2024, Farsight was acquired by Version 1. Version 1 already partners with Farsight on several large-scale government projects, and this move will provide a compelling and powerful value proposition to all customers and prospects in this space.

Requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Lead product strategy and development for client projects, primarily in the public sector
- Conduct market research and user analysis to inform product decisions
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, balancing client needs with technical feasibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products Facilitate workshops and presentations to stakeholders at various levels
- Drive innovation and challenge conventional thinking in product development
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in the public sector
- Proven track record of successfully delivering digital products or services
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, adept at setting and sharing product vision
- Experience in Agile methodologies and product development frameworks
- Adaptability to work across various domains and industries
- Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management and influencing decision-makers
- Ability to balance quantitative analysis with user insights and research
- Experience in facilitating strategic planning sessions and creating compelling roadmaps
- Curiosity and drive for continuous learning and improvement
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate complex organisational structures
- Experience in or knowledge of the financial services industry
- Consultancy experience or a consultative approach to work
- Change management skills and experience in driving organisational change
- Pragmatic mindset focused on tangible outcomes
- Empathy and ability to build strong, trust-based relationships
- Comfort with challenging the status quo and proposing innovative solutions
- Ability to look beyond core remit and connect dots across ecosystems
- Skill in tailoring communication to different stakeholder levels
