Reporting to the Senior IT Field Services Engineer, our IT Field Services Engineer plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer service across a highly skilled IT Support Team. Reporting to the Senior IT Field Services Engineer, our IT Field Services Engineer plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer service across a highly skilled IT Support Team. - You'll proactively visit sites to complete scheduled work, break/fix responses and take part in company‑wide projects, ensuring equipment is tested, compliant and ready to support operational teams.
- You'll build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues across different bases, supporting Service Improvement activity, acting as a trusted on‑site IT presence and a positive representative of the IT department.
- You’ll carry out Site Health Checks and resolve incidents efficiently - always keeping the end customer experience in mind.
This role suits someone who enjoys working independently, is confident managing their own workload and projects, and is able to take full ownership of tasks from planning through to delivery. You'll also:
- Have excellent people skills, strong organisation, and the confidence to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team.
- Technically, we welcome candidates with strong experience in MS 365 and general end‑user device support, along with basic knowledge of Networking, Cabling and Patching (LAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
- Be a versatile engineer who enjoys hands‑on work across multiple locations, contributes effectively to large-scale IT projects, and adapts to different operational environments.
- Have a commitment to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and effective workload management is essential.
- Have experience with ServiceNow and ITIL principles would be beneficial.
