- Solution Design and Documentation:
- Lead the creation of solution design documents for various technology initiatives using distributed application architectures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure technical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
- Project Management and Development Oversight:
- Oversee the development lifecycle for ongoing projects, ensuring milestones are met and any blockers are promptly addressed.
- Provide technical guidance and direction for projects entering the development phase.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the application teams, IT security, Data, and related IT functional teams to ensure seamless project coordination and handoffs.
- Participate in -- and often lead -- technical discussions with external vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the main technical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, conveying project status, potential technical risks, and timeline for solution realization.
- Update project stakeholders on the progress of key initiatives.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Transition:
- Guide team/ pod members in understanding technical requirements and general design principles.
- Ensure knowledge diffusion to adjacent pods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in solution design, documentation, and project and resource management within a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of technical architecture, security protocols, data representations, integration methods, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Expertise with Agile delivery methodologies and experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
- Willingness to work in the Maitland (Orlando) office 3 days per week.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including security, data, and vendor management teams is preferred.
- Prior experience with enterprise-level solutions, particularly in financial services or similar domains, is highly desirable.
