We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic team supporting a leading financial services client based in McLean, VA. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust end-to-end solutions across Angular front-end applications and Java-based back-end services, while supporting production systems in an AWS cloud environment.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Angular (front-end) and Java (back-end)
• Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services within AWS
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and DevOps
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of end-to-end full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in Angular (recent versions) for front-end development
• Solid back-end experience with Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks)
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating within AWS and its core services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in production support and incident management

Nice to have

• Prior experience in financial services, banking, or the mortgage industry is a significant plus
• Familiarity with mortgage origination or servicing platforms
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
