24/7 Crisis Center Case Manager - 100% Remote

As a 24/7 Crisis Center Case Manager, you’ll be a key member of Mindoula’s crisis response team, providing real-time support to members experiencing behavioral health crises. You’ll respond via phone, text, and chat, assess risk, de-escalate crises, develop safety plans, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care—all while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

This role operates on a scheduled shift within a 24/7 coverage model, including potential nights, weekends, and holidays.

Details: Full-time; Monday - Thursday 9 pm to 7am EST

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to behavioral health crises using trauma-informed, de-escalation techniques
  • Conduct suicide and safety risk assessments and escalate to emergency services when needed
  • Create and review collaborative safety plans with members
  • Coordinate referrals and transfers to appropriate levels of care (outpatient, mobile crisis, ED, inpatient, etc.)
  • Engage family members and support systems when appropriate
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation and participate in case reviews and quality improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of behavioral health experience (case management, crisis response, care coordination, counseling, etc.)
  • Crisis center, emergency department, or mobile crisis experience strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in crisis assessment, safety planning, and digital communication
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize member safety
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive care
