About the Job
Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) role in Brisbane, CA.
You will connect with accounting firms through inbound and outbound outreach, lead discovery calls and product demos, and support the full sales cycle. You will also help onboard new partners and maintain long-term engagement through training, follow-ups, and structured communication.
This role combines business development, relationship management, and product education. You will work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Accounting, gaining hands-on experience and building a strong foundation for a career in B2B sales, partnerships, or business services.
Responsibilities
Partner Recruitment & Sales Development
- Manage inbound and outbound pipelines to identify, qualify, and convert accounting firms into active partners
- Conduct tailored discovery calls, product demonstrations, and proposal presentations
- Design and execute outbound strategies, including targeted campaigns and event participation
Partner Relationship Management & Enablement
Maintain ongoing engagement with partners through structured check-ins and follow-ups
Support partner onboarding and training to drive adoption and satisfaction
Monitor partner engagement to identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends
Program Growth & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Accounting teams to align messaging, share partner insights, and enhance the overall program experience
- Identify opportunities to grow existing partner relationships and expand into new markets
- Support lead generation and outreach initiatives to improve partner engagement and program visibility
- Contribute to webinars, tutorials, and training content that support partner education and adoption
- Represent Odoo at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the program and build relationships
Must Have
- Minimum 6 months of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or other customer-facing roles (internships, part-time, or project work welcome)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and problem-solve
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
- Exposure to working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Product)
- Strong proficiency in English; Spanish or French is a plus
- Interest in tech, business processes, and building client/partner relationships
Nice to Have
- Background or coursework in accounting or finance
- Familiarity with CRM or sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo)
- Experience creating training or enablement content
- Participation in case comps, student orgs, or industry events
- Understanding of SaaS or partner-driven business models

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $63,000–$68,000 OTE, with a base salary range of $55,000–$56,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as education, experience, and location.
