Odoo KE 🇰🇪 is looking for a driven and people-focused HR Officer (Recruiter) to join our team in Nairobi and support our growth.
In this role, recruitment will be your main focus (around 70–80% of your time), giving you full ownership of the hiring process from start to finish. Beyond recruitment, you’ll also contribute to broader HR initiatives, making this a dynamic role with variety, impact, and room to grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-cycle recruitment:job requisitions, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding
- Source and engage talent through multiple channels, building strong talent pipelines for current and future roles
- Employer branding & recruitment events: Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and early-career outreach initiatives to attract top talent.
- Onboarding & documentation: Manage new hire documentation, induction processes, and ensure smooth integration into the company
- Candidate experience: Ensure a positive and professional experience for all applicants, from application through onboarding
- Support onboarding and broader HR administration, including HR documentation and HRIS updates
- Daily support to staff on HR related questions
Must Have
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field
- Solid understanding of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices, including offer processes and contracts
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
- Proactive and autonomous, able to take ownership of recruitment activities and drive hiring efforts forward
- A reliable, motivated, and collaborative team player
Nice to have
- Experience recruiting for tech, SaaS, or fast-growing companies
- Exposure to high-volume or multi-role hiring
- Experience supporting employer branding initiatives (careers page, LinkedIn posts, job fairs)
- Interest in expanding into broader HR operations alongside recruitment
- Basic experience with recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, source tracking, pipeline reporting)
