Odoo APAC is expanding - we are opening a brand new branch office in the Philippines and we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Event Marketing Officer to spearhead our events. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of events in this key market - you will be at the forefront of introducing Odoo's solutions to new audiences from SMEs to large corporations and our community.

This role will be based in our brand new Philippines office branch, located in Quezon City.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the Event Lifecycle: Plan, organize, and execute a variety of online and offline events, such as Odoo Business Shows, webinars, Odoo Academies, and tradeshows, in different cities of Philippines, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with our sales, marketing, and Odoo partners to create compelling event content, presentations, and promotional materials
  • Drive Interest & Attendance: Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to maximize event visibility and hit attendance targets. You'll manage everything from social media promotion and email campaigns to ad copy creation
  • Master Our Tools: Utilize the Odoo apps, such as Event, Website Builder, CRM and Email marketing, to manage event pages and content, ensuring a professional and user-friendly experience
  • Build Relationships: Coordinate with external vendors for venues and materials, and act as the main point of contact for our trade show sponsorships and partners
  • Analyze & Optimize: Track event performance, manage budgets, and generate insightful reports to continuously improve our event strategy
  • Active Contribution: Support scaling Odoo in the Philippines by executing other marketing initiatives, campaigns, and other strategic projects as needed

MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor degree, or higher
  • At least 1 year of marketing experience, with a preference for a background in event management or digital marketing
  • Knowledge on the Philippine market and an understanding of its business culture
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Filipino is required, fluency in other Philippine languages is a plus
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Interest in technology and a desire to learn more about Odoo product
  • A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills

  • Experience in SaaS or tech industry, with preference in B2B marketing
