About the Job

At Odoo, we have built a world-class inbound sales machine. Companies actively looking for an ERP find us, and our Direct Sales team closes them. But inbound only captures the 3% of the market actively shopping.

We are launching an elite Outbound Sales Department to proactively target the other 97% - companies experiencing severe operational strain but who haven't yet realized there is a better way.

As an Outbound Account Executive, you will be responsible for manufacturing demand from a cold start and managing the entire sales cycle - from pulling the account list to closing the revenue. You will primarily be targeting businesses whose current software is breaking under the weight of their growth.

This is not a role for the faint of heart. It requires a true hunter mentality, high emotional stability, and the structural discipline to execute a rigorous playbook. In return, you get to drive a critical new revenue engine at one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Targeting & Sourcing: You will utilize sales intelligence platforms to identify target accounts. From here you will build an outreach strategy to key stakeholders.
  • Proactive Outreach: Execution of our multi-touch, multi-channel sequences. This role heavily indexes on cold calling. You will batch dial, leave strategic voicemails, and write highly personalized problem-focused emails.
  • Discovery & Meetings: Running deep, consultative discovery calls. You won't be feature-dumping Odoo; you will be diagnosing operational pain, quantifying the cost of fragmented data, and building business cases.
  • Closing: Managing complex sales cycles, multi-threading across departments, and guiding prospects through to closed-won revenue.

Requirements

  • 1+ Years of Outbound B2B Sales Experience: You have successfully worked as an SDR, BDR, or Outbound AE. You know how to cold call, handle objections, and manufacture a pipeline.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Understanding of business operations
  • Knowledge landscape of software providers in different verticals
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, think on your feet, and communicate effectively
  • Results-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and a “hands-on” person with a proven ability to meet objectives and targets
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker, and strategist
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

Nice To Have

  • The "Grind" Background: Experience in high-resilience, high-pressure environments (e.g., door-to-door sales, military veterans, collegiate athletes, heavy commission-only roles)
  • Industry Context: Previous experience selling SaaS, ERPs, or selling directly into the Manufacturing, Wholesale, or Distribution sectors
  • Tech Stack Fluency: Prior experience utilizing sales intelligence and data enrichment tools
  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $69,000–$93,000 OTE (on-target earnings), with a base salary range of $45,000–$70,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
