📣 The Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Officer who will contribute to Odoo's growth by participating in the purchase of advertising space: billboards, press, radio and more!

By exploring the European and African market you will be responsible for contacting diverse suppliers, negotiating contracts but also think about new ways to give Odoo more visibility in Europe and Africa.

You'll also support the marketing department in its day to day missions, especially during Odoo Experience. The position is a mix of on-site and homeworking.

Responsibilities

• Explore the European market and find key spots for Odoo billboards.
• Contact suppliers and negotiate price and space
• Compare and evaluate the different offers on the market
• Check up the designs and keep an eye on the diverse contracts
• Organizing trade shows and sending teams on site
• Explore online and media advertisement such as Google ads, radio, TV, press, ...
• Take part in other Marketing activities: organizing Odoo Experience, writing articles, reviewing and sending mass mailings, ...

Must have

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor degree or higher
• Very good speaking, writing and understanding of English and French
• Passion for software/technical products
• Good Negotiation skills
• Organisation & Sense of Priority
• Highly creative and autonomous
• Driving license
• Valid work permit for Belgium

Nice to have

• A first experience in Marketing, Sales, Communications,...
• Fluency in Dutch or German or Spanish or Italian
• Affinity with the IT world
• Knowledge of Google Ads
