About the Job
Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) role in Buffalo, NY.
Odoo is building out its Accounting Firm Program across North America and is hiring a Sales Development Representative to help grow it. This is a hunter role. You will be responsible for identifying accounting firms that are a fit for Odoo's registered accounting firm program, reaching out cold, and booking discovery demos with qualified contacts.
Success here comes from your ability to build a targeted prospect list, execute a consistent outreach cadence, and convert cold conversations into booked meetings.
Responsibilities
Research and identify accounting firms across North America that meet program fit criteria
Build and maintain a prospecting pipeline using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and other sourcing tools
Execute cold outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage firm owners, partners, and controllers
Qualify prospects and book discovery demos for the accounting firm program
Track all activity, pipeline status, and outreach history in Odoo CRM
Refine messaging and outreach sequences based on response data
Collaborate with program leadership to improve targeting and qualification criteria over time
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Understanding of business and accounting operations
Knowledge landscape of software providers in different verticals
Demonstrated ability to learn, think on your feet, and communicate effectively
Results-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and a "hands-on" person with a proven ability to meet objectives and targets
Creative, outside-the-box thinker, and strategist
Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Nice to Have
Demonstrated ability to reach and exceed goals through academic or extracurricular achievements
1+ years of B2B sales experience
1+ years of outbound sales experience

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $53,000- $77,000 OTE (on-target earnings), with a base salary range of $45,000-$69,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
