About the job
As an Education Officer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with universities, TAFEs, and other educational institutions across Australia. You will represent Odoo through workshops, guest lectures, career events, and training sessions while supporting educators in incorporating Odoo into their curriculum.
Working closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Consulting teams, you will develop engaging educational content, coordinate outreach initiatives, and help grow Odoo's presence within the education sector.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys public speaking, relationship building, project coordination, and making a meaningful impact through education.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, TAFEs, educators, and academic partners.
- Develop and manage Odoo's education partnership initiatives across Australia.
- Deliver engaging workshops, webinars, product demonstrations, and guest lectures.
- Support educators in integrating Odoo into classroom learning and practical coursework.
- Create educational resources, presentations, tutorials, and training materials.
- Coordinate campus events, career fairs, competitions, and student engagement activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote educational programs and initiatives.
- Monitor program performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, educational developments, and new Odoo features.
About you

Here's what we expect from you:
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in education, training, learning and development, student engagement, or partnership management.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to speak to groups of varying sizes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with external stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to educational institutions and events across Australia.
Nice to have
- Experience working with universities, TAFEs, or higher education institutions.
- Knowledge of ERP software, SaaS products, or business management systems.
- Experience developing educational content or training materials.
- Experience organising workshops, conferences, webinars, or large-scale events.
