About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist IT to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of IT hardware, software, and services. The role involves coordinating with vendors, managing procurement processes, and ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end IT procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Finance, and Operations) to understand procurement requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Monitor supplier performance, contracts, and SLAs to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Track, audit, and reconcile IT purchase records, invoices, and payments.
  • Support budgeting and cost-saving initiatives through effective vendor management and negotiation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and legal/contractual obligations.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities to management.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware, software licensing, and service procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement tools (SAP/Oracle/Ariba or similar).
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience in IT contract management and SLA tracking.
  • Knowledge of procurement compliance and best practices.
  • Certification in supply chain/procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
