Job Requirements

Phenom is looking for a Director of Security & Trust Enablement to build and scale the services that connect our Security & Trust capabilities with our customers and internal business teams. We expect this leader to actively use AI to improve how security services are delivered. You will explore and implement AI-enabled approaches to streamline customer assurance, accelerate security reviews, improve knowledge sharing and create scalable self-service experiences for internal teams and customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong technical security knowledge, curiosity about emerging technologies, and a customer-first mindset. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Operations, Product, Engineering, and IT to make security easier to understand, easier to adopt, and easier to demonstrate to customers and leaders.

You will have the opportunity to shape how the function operates, establish practical services and processes. Success in this role requires someone who is comfortable moving between strategy and execution: defining a service model one day, experimenting with an AI-enabled workflow the next, and supporting an important customer security conversation when needed.

This is not a traditional CISO or security governance role. It is an opportunity for a collaborative, technically credible leader who wants to build, experiment, improve, and deliver security services in a fast-paced, AI-driven company.

What You’ll Do

  • Define, build, and operate a Security & Trust Enablement model, including service catalog, SLAs, and measurable outcomes
  • Identify and implement practical uses of AI across Security & Trust service delivery.
  • Use AI to improve the speed and consistency of security questionnaires, RFP responses, customer assurance activities, reporting, and internal knowledge management.
  • Develop AI-supported self-service experiences that help Sales, Customer Operations, Product, and IT teams access accurate security guidance.
  • Work with Product to support the development of security, privacy, compliance capabilities and customer security requirements.
  • Help teams balance customer needs, security risk, delivery speed, and security priorities.
  • Practical use of AI, automation, or workflow tooling to improve security, trust, compliance, or customer-facing processes.
  • Customer security reviews, questionnaires, RFPs, audits, or customer assurance meetings.
  • Security service management, including service catalogues, SLAs, KPIs, intake processes, or service ownership.
  • Security enablement, training, documentation, or security champion programmes.
  • Working in a high-growth technology, SaaS, AI, or start-up-style environment.
  • Building a new capability, process or service from an early stage.
  • Work closely with IT and internal stakeholders to deliver and improve enterprise security services

What Success Looks Like

During your first year, you will help Phenom:

  • Create a clear and accessible Security & Trust service model.
  • Introduce practical AI-enabled workflows that improve the speed, quality, and scalability of Security & Trust services.
  • Improve the speed and quality of customer security engagements.
  • Reduce repetitive work through standardised content, intelligent workflows, automation, and self-service resources.
  • Strengthen collaboration between Sales, Customer Operations, Product & IT.
  • Establish measurable service performance and customer-impact reporting.
  • Enable teams to make secure decisions with greater confidence and independence.
  • Build a strong foundation for the future growth of the Security & Trust Enablement function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong experience in service delivery roles
  • Proven leadership experience managing and building cross-functional or service-oriented teams
  • Demonstrated experience defining and operating Security & Trust services with SLAs, KPIs, and measurable outcomes
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, risk management, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate security concepts into business value and actionable guidance

Specialized Knowledge

  • Ability to align security services and enablement efforts with business priorities, balancing risk and growth
  • Experience designing and operating security service delivery models (service catalog, SLAs, service ownership, performance metrics)
  • Strong understanding of customer trust and security assurance processes, including handling customer requirements, calls and audits
  • Knowledge of cloud and SaaS security environments, including shared responsibility models
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple service streams and stakeholders

Salary

  • Expected salary range $140,000 - $160,000
