Sendcloud is moving from scaling fast to scaling smart. That shift needs product leaders who can do two things at once: own strategic topics and deliver against it, and raise the bar for how the whole product organisation works. As Product Lead you report to the VP of Product, lead a team of product managers, and carry real accountability for the business outcomes not just shipping features.

🧐 The Role

• As Product Lead, you own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your strategic initiative, and you're accountable for the measurable outcomes it delivers like adoption, retention, monetisation, reliability.

• You lead a team of product managers and technical product managers: coaching, hiring, setting direction, and holding the quality bar.

• You sit in product leadership, contributing to company-level product strategy and to how we run product at Sendcloud process, prioritisation, technical debt, and ways of working.

• You operate through influence rather than hierarchy, aligning engineering, commercial, operations, and leadership around a shared plan.

🎯 What you'll do

• Own strategic product topics, and roadmap, translate it into clear priorities, and make the trade-offs explicit.

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of product managers from goal setting and feedback to hiring and career development.

• Turn customer, market, and data insights into scalable product decisions, and kill the ideas that don't hold up.

• Project-manage complex initiatives from first scope to live, keeping timelines, stakeholders, and risks under control.

• Connect product work to commercial reality: build the business case, track the numbers, and defend the ROI.

• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, data, operations, commercial, and legal to get things delivered, and communicate progress and impact clearly to leadership.

• Help shape 'the Sendcloud way' of doing product standards, frameworks, and rituals that make the whole organisation faster and more outcome-driven.

✅ What you bring to the table

Personally

• You're hands-on and pragmatic. You'd rather ship something and learn than wait for a perfect plan.

• You give direct feedback and take it well, and you're comfortable being the one who names the uncomfortable problem.

• You move senior stakeholders without a hierarchical hammer: clear reasoning, good storytelling, visible results.

• You get a genuine buzz from seeing a team you lead outgrow what it could do before.

Professionally

• 5+ years in product management, including experience leading or mentoring product managers.

• A track record of owning a product area or company level strategic topic end to end and delivering measurable business outcomes, not just releases.

• Experience with complex, high-traffic SaaS platforms and working closely with engineering on technical trade-offs.

• Structured, data-driven decision-making you're comfortable digging into the numbers yourself.

• Proven ability to run large, cross-functional projects to completion in a fast-moving environment.

• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus but not required.

• Affinity and experience within e-commerce or logistics platforms is a plus, curiosity about them is a must.
