Job Summary
As the Business Development Representative Manager on Strider’s Strategic Solutions Team, your role is to lead and develop the Business Development function responsible for introducing Strider’s product offerings to prospective clients across a targeted market. You will guide the team to create high quality pipeline, strengthen market engagement, and drive scalable, repeatable revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator and coach who pairs intellectual curiosity with strong execution, enabling the team to excel and the business to grow.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
Hire, train, and coach a high performing team of Business Development Representatives.
Provide ongoing feedback, skills development, and performance management to help each team member excel.
Establish clear goals, activity expectations, and performance standards aligned to revenue targets.
Operational and Strategic Management
Build, optimize, and maintain the BDR operating model including outreach strategy, sequencing, messaging, and targeting.
Partner with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to align on priority accounts, account plans, and coverage models.
Monitor team activity and pipeline metrics, providing insights, forecasts, and recommendations for improvement.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Coordinate closely with Marketing on campaigns, lead routing, targeting strategies, and reporting.
Strengthen data quality within Salesforce by ensuring the team maintains accurate and complete CRM records that support sales and marketing decision making.
Executive Engagement and Market Development
Support the team in creating and nurturing high value relationships with security executives across Fortune 500 companies and emerging innovators.
Lead reviews of outreach performance, messaging effectiveness, and competitive insights to continuously refine go to market motion.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success leading a Business Development or Inside Sales team in a SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
A strong understanding of sales development motions, outbound strategy, and pipeline creation.
Exceptional coaching, communication, and feedback skills with the ability to develop early career talent.
Highly organized, self driven, and motivated to build scalable systems and processes.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and open to iteration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Interest in global security, geopolitics, or emerging technology.
Learning and Growth Opportunities
Build deep expertise in Strider’s go to market strategy, value proposition, and client landscape.
Gain hands on experience with sales tools including Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
Develop leadership capability in coaching, analytics, forecasting, and GTM process design.
Learn and reinforce Strider’s sales methodology, MEDDPICC, and how to apply it to early stage pipeline development and qualification.
