About the Team:

Our team is customer-obsessed, data-driven, and focused on delivering excellence. We thrive on solving complex cybersecurity challenges, helping businesses reduce risk, and building innovative products that drive real impact.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Director of Product, Platform to lead the strategy, development, and execution of two foundational platforms at SecurityScorecard:

  • SecurityScorecard Platform (current): The core infrastructure that powers all of SecurityScorecard’s existing products and services.
  • Platform v2 (next-generation): A modernized architecture and services framework, beginning with the first product offering - Supply Chain Detection & Response (SCDR) - and designed to eventually host the rest of our product portfolio

This is a high-visibility leadership role, where you’ll set the platform vision, guide its execution, and ensure it delivers performance, scalability, and innovation to meet both current and future needs of our business and customers. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, product teams, operations, customer success, and go-to-market teams to evolve and future-proof SecurityScorecard’s platform foundation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead platform product strategy: Own the long-term vision and roadmap for both the current SecurityScorecard Platform and Platform v2.
  • Mature Platform v1 Capabilities: Work with engineering and product teams to deliver and mature platform features for the existing product portfolio
  • Drive Platform v2 execution: Partner with platform engineering on Platform v2 to deliver a modular, scalable platform beginning with its first deployment in SCDR, with a clear migration and adoption path for future products.
  • Scale platform capabilities: Enhance and evolve platform services including data ingestion, processing, scoring, APIs, and internal tooling to support the company’s growing product suite.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Align platform strategy with the needs of product teams, engineering, GTM stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Support product delivery: Ensure both platforms enable product velocity, quality, and differentiated capabilities for internal and external customers.
  • Champion platform reusability: Advocate for shared services and frameworks to increase engineering efficiency and reduce duplication across teams.
  • Enable performance and security: Define and deliver platform-level SLAs, security posture, and compliance frameworks to support enterprise-grade requirements.
  • Serve as a platform evangelist: Represent the platform internally and externally as a strategic asset and driver of innovation.

What We Need You to Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, including leadership roles in cybersecurity, SaaS, or managed services.
  • Strong preference in platform development or in platform companies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • 5+ years of experience leading managed security services or related offerings.
  • Deep understanding of platform design, APIs, data pipelines, service-oriented architectures, and internal tooling.
  • Experience partnering with engineering leadership to make architectural trade-offs and drive platform modernization efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, particularly in areas like data risk, TPRM, or threat intelligence (a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels, from engineering to executive stakeholders.
  • Skilled at balancing platform priorities across internal product needs, technical debt, and long-term innovation.
  • Data-driven decision-making and strong analytical skills, with experience in platform metrics and observability.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced technical or business degree preferred.
