Deal Desk Specialist
We are looking for a Deal Desk Specialist to join our growing Deal Desk team. As a Deal Desk Specialist at SecurityScorecard, you will support the go-to-market organization throughout their deal cycle by facilitating quote and contract reviews and managing all quote-to-cash processes. Reporting to the Deal Desk Director, you will partner with SecurityScorecard’s global GTM organization, Finance, Legal and Revenue Operations teams on policies and processes to accelerate deal cycles and maximize revenue. You possess a team player attitude and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as GTM’s trusted advisor as well as the centralized and primary source for all their quote-to-cash requests, beginning with quote review and approvals
- Act as GTM’s main POC, liaison and advocate, managing all internal disputes, and coordinating all cross-functional collaboration throughout the deal cycle with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders involved in the deal-closing process
- Compliance: trained and fluent in all the company’s commercial policies, ensure all deals comply and otherwise escalate to respective stakeholders accordingly
- Doc review & data alignment: make certain that data is consistent across signed contracts, Salesforce, and subscription management/billing system when processing deals, so all opportunities are processed efficiently and accurately
- Customizing non-standard order forms, as well as reviewing and approving commercial and/or administrative redlines
- Maintain ongoing training and refresher sessions with the GTM teams to emphasize best practices and how-tos
- Constantly work to identify process gaps and bottlenecks and provide solutions for improvements to optimize current processes and workflows
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1+ years of Deal Desk experience
- Fluent in English
- Salesforce experience
- Strong understanding of the sales deal cycle and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of various licensing models including but not limited to term and subscription-based pricing
- Ability to thrive within a fast-moving environment with organizational changes
- Strong time management, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and under critical timelines
- Ability to work extended hours at end of month and end of quarter
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Relevant SaaS experience
